Volunteers Needed for Flood Preparation

Salvation Army Major jack Holloway is keeping a close eye on the rising waters of the Missouri River, and is working to ensure that The Salvation Army is poised to respond quickly, should the need arise. The Salvation Army corps locations in the Metro Area are working to develop teams of volunteers and employees to respond to flooding concerns, should they be needed.

Additionally, DHQ Volunteer Coordinator Sheila Davis is working to ensure that volunteers are properly trained, should they be needed to respond. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering to assist in The Salvation Army’s response, please contact Sheila to schedule your TSA training on one of the dates listed below:

Thursday June 23 9am-1pm Introduction to Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services

Tuesday, June 28 9am-1pm Introduction to Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services

Thursday, June 30 9am-5pm Disaster Food Service: Safety and Handling

Thursday, July 7 4-8pm Introduction to Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services

Saturday, July 9, 9am-5pm Disaster Food Service: Safety and Handling

Thursday, July 21, 4-8pm Introduction to Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services

Saturday, July 23, 9am-5pm Disaster Food Service: Safety and Handling

More sessions will be scheduled as needed.

    i would love to be trainned in food preparation.coz i would like to join in voluteering team.though am that far but i like the way u do u thinks there.be blessed dearly.and may God mutiply the day`s of ur life.
