After witnessing the many ways in which The Salvation Army has contributed to their surrounding community, Dr. Rob Elder of Metro Chiropractic and Nutritional Wellness Centre, Inc. of Maryland Heights decided to donate a day of treatment to The Salvation Army. On June 15, clients of the chiropractic center were seen for a minimum donation to The Salvation Army of $25.00.

Dr. Rob Elder and staff present their accumulated donations to Major Jack Holloway on June 20.

While some clients donated the minimum, others were quite generous, resulting in a total donation of $2,635.00, at the end of the fundraiser.

Pat Cashen, Chiropractic Assistant for Metro said, “We chose Salvation Army because they reach out to the community in many different ways – working to help others through disaster relief, homeless outreach, feeding programs and so much more. We trust them to put this money to good use. Our hearts go out to those individuals and families they help, so we felt this was our way to give back to support that work.”

A check presentation was held at the Metro Chiropractic and Nutritional Wellness Centre on Monday, June 20.  Dr. Rob Elder presented Major Jack Holloway with the funds, and vowed that Metro would continue to be an ardent supporter of The Salvation Army for years to come.
